forward from there, we will coordinate every aspect of your remodeling project whether a simple countertop replacement or a complete renovation. We are able to supply and install new cabinetry,
countertops, flooring, windows, doors, ceilings, move walls or build an addition.

 A Rich History
Humble Beginnings: In the late 1950's, Stanley W. Gleason started making kitchen cabinets in his garage in the west side section of Scranton. Business quickly grew and before long, he was occupying a 2-story work shop building on his premises. By the late 60's he had outgrown that building. In 1969, he moved the business to Moosic where he continued to serve the community and outfitted many area homes with custom cabinetry.
His son John grew up in the family business and worked under the tutelage of his father at virtually every aspect of the business. From every station in the factory, to installing kitchens, purchasing, new design & development and then as Vice President of Sales & Marketing he later became responsible for transforming the business from a strictly local manufacturer to a major supplier of frameless cabinetry up & down the East Coast and as far west as Chicago & St. Louis.
By the early 1970's Gleason became an industry leader being one of the first cabinet manufacturers in the USA to offer frameless, or as it was called then, European cabinet construction. This type of construction allows for greater accessible storage space and enlarged interior access. Due to the innovative design and the incorporation of the 'new' European influence combined with new technology in materials and assembly methods allowed for superior maintenance & longevity of the cabinet interior as well as new design elements for overall aesthetics.
Back to their Roots: In 2001, John returned the Gleason Cabinet Co, Inc. back to its' roots of supplying cabinetry on a local basis. We service residential & commercial customers within a 50 mile radius of our one & only showroom, still located on Gleason Drive in Moosic. While employing many state of the art manufacturing & design technologies, we continue to do business the old-fashioned way. We come to your home to measure the space and see first hand the area to be remodeled. We will design a layout to best suit your needs and work with you to stay within your budget. Today, many of our current customers are repeat customers who have trusted the Gleason name for quality and long-lasting value in the investment in their homes.
Present Day: In addition to our own Gleason line of cabinetry & Paradise Outdoor Kitchens, we are authorized dealers for Jim Bishop, Tedd Wood Fine Cabinetry, and Kaco International.
